Download Arcade Cabinet DIY guide

An Arcade Cabinet DIY guide.

This document explains how I built my first arcade system back in 2009–2010, using Windows XP 64-bit and a SCART TV.

If you have an old PC that’s compatible with Windows XP and/or a SCART-equipped TV, this guide will help you build a retro arcade system with ease.

Inside this guide, you will learn how to:

  • Connect your PC to an old SCART TV for an authentic CRT feel.
  • Configure Windows XP 64-bit for arcade emulation.
  • Set up controls and front-end software.

Feel free to build, tweak, and enjoy — and help keep retro gaming alive!

This project is available completely for free! I host my files on Ko-Fi to keep everything organized. To download it for free, simply enter $0 in the price box. However, if you enjoy my work and want to “drop a coin in the arcade,” you can choose to name your own price.
Any donation, no matter how small, helps me maintain the arcade and keep creating new content.
Thank you for the support!
